A group of TCHA students have successfully undertaken a cultural visit to Château de la Baudonnière in Normandy.
The coach left school at 10 am on Saturday 14th April with 17 Y8 students and 2 Y9 students, reaching the beautiful château at 11.30pm. Students had time for a hot chocolate before bed.
After a tour of the vast grounds, students started with team building activities indoors to keep out of the rain. After lunch, the first brave group tackled the assault course (a lot of mud!), whilst the others tried their hand at archery. Then in the evening, students were tested on their French knowledge in the quiz and had to face another challenge, where birthday girl, Maariyah, was the winner!
On Monday 16th April the day started with sunshine. The morning was spent making French bread and students got to eat their works of art at lunchtime. So much fun and such artistic children!
Our students also visited the market in Villedieu and spent an afternoon at Mont Saint Michel.
TCHA students have had a fantastic time and behaved superbly!
