Brilliant CHA Students Graduate from Kings College London!

On Saturday 23rd September Our Brilliant Club students travelled, with many of their parents, to Kings College London to celebrate their graduation from the Brilliant Club Scholar's Programme.

The twelve Chalk Hills students undertook extended studies on the topic of monomer sequence regulation in polymers and its importance in the field of macromolecules with PhD researcher Nadeema Appukutti, before writing a final 1000 word assignment assessed at a University level.

Nadeema expressed how very impressed by our students' hard work and enthusiasm, which clearly translated into tangible results as our students achieved outstanding results including four 1st Class and six upper 2nd class awards.

Kings College is not the only highly selective university the students were able to experience as the programme launch took place during a day trip to Keble College at Oxford University earlier this year.

Our students had the following to say about the programme;

‘I think it is amazing. It has given me an insight into university life. It is so inspiring, and has made me consider attending Oxford or Cambridge university in the future.’

"I would just like to thank Chalk Hills Academy and the Brilliant Club for this amazing opportunity. It really is a fantastically inspiring programme."
