A group of Year 9 & 10 G&T students attended Aspiration Day at Wadham College in Oxford, being one of the 38 colleges that make up Oxford University.
We started the day with a quick rundown about the University followed by two academic sessions
- Clouded leopard Research – education about the species and it’s problems and how research into it’s habitats and behaviours can help preserve the species
- History From Coins – on how antiquities from ancient Greece and how they relate to our coinage today. The sessions also connected this to decimalisation.
After lunch, we had a tour the facilities where student ambassadors had a question and answer session that the students found very informative.
Then onto the Natural History Museum which we could have spent all day investigating.
