Pupil Premium

Using Pupil Premium to enhance our student experience

The Pupil Premium is used for a variety of purposes all linked to general care, support and guidance - and to enhance the learning experience of our students.

This can include:

- Funding breakfast and after school clubs

- Weekend revision classes including lunch & refreshments

- Financial assistance with uniform & specialist vocational equipment

- Personal IT equipment

- Additional courses relevant to our students areas of expertise, to enable further development and advancement of their skills

Key Priorities are to ensure we continue to use the funding in an innovative method to narrow the gap of attainment between the pupils that are entitled to pupil premium and non-pupil premium students:

We carefully monitor:

  • the attainment of the pupils who attract the funding
  • the progress made by these pupils
  • the gap in attainment between disadvantaged pupils and their peers
